About Capital BBQ

Capital BBQ (BBQing.com) has been creating exceptional outdoor cooking experiences for customers for over 35 years. We don’t just sell grills — we share expertise, ignite passion, and help every customer find exactly what they need to make their outdoor space something truly special. From premium grills, smokers, and outdoor kitchens to the finest accessories and everything in between, we are the destination for outdoor cooking enthusiasts across North America. We love what we do, we’re passionate about our customers, and that energy shows in every conversation, every demonstration, and every sale. We’re growing — and we’re looking for people who share that same fire.

The Role

As our BBQ Assembly & Quality Control Technician, you are the first and most important quality assurance before a product reaches our customer’s hands. Your work matters — every grill you assemble, every check you complete, and every standard you uphold directly shapes the experience our customers have. You’ll work hands-on in our warehouse assembling premium BBQs and grills to manufacturer specifications, enforcing our quality standards, and supporting broader warehouse operations when assembly volume allows. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and take real pride in work done right — we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

•        Assemble premium BBQs, grills, and outdoor cooking equipment to manufacturer specifications — ensuring every unit is built accurately, safely, and efficiently
•        Own quality control for all customer-facing assemblies — completing thorough inspection checkpoints to verify every unit is complete, functional, and meets Capital BBQ’s standards before it reaches a customer
•        Document and report any assembly defects, missing components, or quality concerns promptly and accurately
•        Enforce quality standards and consistency across all assembly work — no shortcuts, no exceptions
•        Support warehouse activities during assembly downtime, including receiving, picking, packing, and general warehouse tasks
•        Maintain a clean, organized, and safe assembly workspace at all times
•        Follow all health and safety policies and procedures — your safety and your team’s safety come first
•        Collaborate with the Warehouse & Logistics Team Lead to prioritize assembly schedules aligned with customer delivery timelines

Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
•        Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
•        Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality standards
•        Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and stand for extended periods throughout a shift
•        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team

Preferred / Assets:
•        Some mechanical, assembly, or trades experience is strongly preferred
•        Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment
•        A passion for BBQ, outdoor cooking, or working hands-on with quality products
•        Reliable, punctual, and takes genuine pride in work done right every time

What We Offer

•        Competitive seasonal wage
•        Employee merchandise discount on premium BBQ and outdoor living products
•        Hands-on BBQ product training — you’ll become an expert on the products you build
•        Potential for extended or permanent placement for high performers
•        A family-owned, passionate team culture where your craftsmanship and contribution truly matter

Take Pride in Every Build. Make an Impact Every Day.

At Capital BBQ, the quality of what we deliver to our customers starts with the quality of what happens in our warehouse. If you’re someone who takes craftsmanship seriously, works with precision, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely cares about getting it right — we’d love to hear from you.
